The extent of editable fields for an event depends on your access level and its stage in the life cycle.

Pending Events 

  • Statuses: Draft and Awaiting Approval
    • A District Official can edit all details
    • A District Official may revert an event in Awaiting Approval status back to Draft
    • An Organiser can edit Draft events only
    • Both an Organiser and a District Official may submit a Draft event for approval

Active Events

  • Statuses: Approved, Open for Entry and Closed for Entry 
    • A District Official can edit the following: Open and Closing Date, Event Name, Course, Backup Course, Entry Limit, Reserve Rider Limit, Event Information URL, Event HQ, Entry Form Notes, Event Description, Organiser name and Organiser email address
    • An Organiser can edit the following: Event Information URL, Event HQ, Entry Form Notes, Event Description
  • Statuses: Startsheet Published and beyond
    • No updates allowed.

To edit details of an event, access the event:

1. Event Organisers

From the Home Dashboard, look for your event, example TJ FAQ Event 10 shown right, and select View / Edit Event. If the event is in Draft status the box will say Edit Event, otherwise it will say View Event as illustrated here. Draft events may be Saved as Draft (if you anticipate further changes) or Submitted for Approval (if they are ready for District Admin to check and either Approve or Revert to Draft if changes are required.

 

2. District Officials

District Officials have access to all events in their district. Select Events from the menu on the left. Make sure My District is selected at the top. Optionally, use the keyword search to filter events in the list. Find your event and click the name of the event. 

Edit and Save

From there you'll be able to amend any value shown with the  icon. Be sure to commit any change you make by clicking the  button to save it.
