Every event is required to have a Stripe Connect Account set up to enable CTT to make payouts to its organiser or organising club. This is a three-stage process:

1. Set Preferred Payment Account (🔗). Payments can be made to either a personal or club account.
2. Create Stripe Connect Account using Stripe's Create Payment Account process.
     a. Personal Account (🔗)
     b. Club Account (🔗)
3. Confirm payment account for event (🔗) so that payouts can be made.

This help page also explains how to 4. access and edit your connected account (🔗).

Events run by organisers who have not set their payment account preference will be labelled on the Home Dashboard and event dashboard with Payment account preference has not been set as shown below.

1. Set Preferred Payment Account

Organisers must set their preference for payment of entry fees to a personal or club account. From the Payouts section of the event page (🔗), select the blue button on the right. The text in that button, and the message in red below it, are context aware:

  • If Payment Account Preference has not been set, the button text will read Select Payment Account, as shown below.
  • If the preference has been set to Organiser but their account has not been set up, it will read Create Payment Account.
  • If on the other hand, Payment Account Preference has been set to Club; just the message explaining that the club payment account has not been set up.

  (i) If the preference has not yet been set, to set it, click on Select Payment Account on the right of the screen which will take you to your Organiser Profile
